Print Design

I’ve designed a range of client designed visual collateral such as stationery (business cards, letterheads, envelopes), branding, signage, t-shirts and apparel, magazine and newspaper advertising, product labels and custom diecuts. Anything and everything designed for print, typically bound by stringent print production specifications

Branding and Identity

The face of your company deserves to be represented with precision. A company logo is a critical visual of your company’s brand. Along with the company name, a logo is often considered the most memorable aspect of your company. Therefore, the right message needs to be conveyed. I design logos that fit your target demographic and vision which underline your brands' identity.

Web Design

An explosion of growth in this area means that web design requires your brand’s image to be visually accurate. I’ve designed websites for clients with a focus on small to medium business, allowing them to self manage and update there own site with little to no training. The look and feel of the website is just as important as its functionality.  I can also change the face of your social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter.

As the name of role indicates I am a specialist in Production, working from concept through to completion. I take others ideas and make them real. Working closely with the Marketing and Studio teams I project manage from brief to delivery. Liaising with both Domestic and International suppliers, shipping and freight, managing warehousing, picking and packing, POS and packaging, mailing and distribution. My role also has me managing our house cliental that only require print and promotional products, some of these been blue chip for our business. Since joining Icon Visual Marketing, I have had the privilege of developing new systems for how print is handled, sourcing new suppliers and getting best price for our quality products, developing a print pricing structure that is competitive and technically advising our Studio/Graphics team. I have also added prepress to Icon Visual Marketing as this was something that was lacking, this has drastically improved the quality of our print and especially large format billboards. I also handle our Direct Selling clients and print all of the personalised stationery.

The Digital Centre

Employment Period: October 2014 - April 2016

Position: Production Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role of Production Manager became available, and the production staff requested to the Director that I be appointed as the new Production Manager as they believed I had the skills and drive to make positive changes. I happily took on this role, having earned the respect of my peers and this helped me to develop a strong reliable team. One of my greatest achievements whilst working with TDC has been to develop a strong workflow from receiving a job, to getting artwork and continuing through production. I have also redesigned the layout of the production area, which increased the production capacity, and efficiency allowing the business to take on more work, and deliver to our customers in a more timely and professional manner. This included sourcing new equipment and suppliers which helped save time and money.

I joined The Digital Centre as an Internal Account Manager where I took charge of this role and was helping to build sales; it was within the first few weeks of working at TDC the Director could see that I had great skill. This position was excellent for a student come designer, and the role was in a relaxed environment. I left this job in order to gain new skills and further my career

Project managing our “Blue Chip” clients, such as Caltex and Commonwealth Bank which involves organising training materials across Australia to nationwide mailing campaigns. I have developed a strong relationship with CBA and now storyboard, design and create animations that are for internal campaigns and training. My role has lead me into marketing for the store, running both print and email campaigns which has helped to boost sales and expand our database of clients. Within the capacity of my role I have gained a vast knowledge of all aspects of print and finishing to be able to advise our clients and ensure they receive a quality finish.
